Kabini and Bandipur are the two Jewels in South India famous for their Tiger and Leopard population as well as exotic bird life. The Kabini reservoir cruise provides an out of the world experience as you cruise along and enjoy sightings of the rich wildlife and bird life the region offers.

Both Kabini and Bandipur offers great accommodation and open jeep safari rides in the jungles.


Please book for this tour as much in advance as you can so we can block all desired jungle safaris for you. Parks on this tour remain open all year round but weather wise it is best to visit from November to March. However during the monsoon season i.e June, July and August the jungle turns vibrant green and looks fabulous. Please do write to us on suggestions for a list to carry items and best airport to arrival and depart and pre or post programs if you require.

Kabini (Read Nagarhole National park) and Bandipur Tiger reserves remain open for tourists all year round. Unlike other parks which close for monsoon.  Early reservation is recommended as Kabini in particular attracts a lot of tourists from all over and gets sold out well in advance. Both the tiger reserves have good accommodation facilities available and offer open jeep safaris. We provide all services from your arrival till your departure.

Day 01 - Arrive Bangalore

Upon arrival in Bangalore we will receive you at the airport/ train station and take you to your pre-booked accommodation in the city. Depending upon your flight arrival time a visit to some popular sites in Bangalore will be organise including Cubbon Park and Vidhan Sauda (Legislative Assembly building) and if time permits we can even visit Art Of Living Intern national centre. This centre is put of the city about 30 KM and require full day.

Bangalore ISKCON temple is a beautiful place to visit as well. Overnight at the hotel in Bangalore.

Day 02 - Bangalore to Kabini

An early breakfast and leave for Kabini River Lodge on the Kabini river. 230 Km and will take 06-07 hours. Upon arrival at the lodge check in and have lunch.

Little rest and prepare for the afternoon safari in the park in open jeeps / van. 

Day 03 - Kabini

Morning and afternoon park visit. Each safari lasts for about three hours.

Park has good Tiger and Leopard population as well as Elephants, Sloth Bear, Crocodile, Otters,  Dhole, Indian gaur, all kind of Deers, rich bird life and exquisite flora and stunning landscape.

Kabini was declared 37th Tiger Reserve in 1999 and is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere reserve. The Kabini reservoir separates the Kabini Tiger Reserve from Bandipur Tiger Reserve.  Both these parks are a part of much larger protected are in South India totalling an area of 2183 Sq.Km and also includes Mudumalai National park and Wayanad wildlife sanctuary. UNESCO is considering Kabini as a world heritage site. 

The park consists of mostly moist deciduous forest.

Day 04 - Kabini

Overnight at the river lodge.

Day 05 - Kabini to Bandipur

In the morning enjoy the river cruise on river Kabini and sight its rich fauna diversity. Later return to the resort for breakfast and depart for Bandipur.

About three hours drive. Upon arrival transfer to the jungle resort.

Day 06 - Bandipur

Morning and afternoon open jeep/van safari in the park sighting its numerous flora and fauna.

Day 07 - Bandipur

Day 08 - Bandipur

Bandipur has good numbers of Tigers, Leopards, Indian elephants, Gaur, Dhole, Chital, Sambar, Sloth Bear, Four-Horned Antelope, Grey Langur, Wild boar and Muntjac.


Day 09 - Bandipur to Mysore

After leisurely breakfast leave for Mysore. Upon arrival in Mysore transfer to a hotel.

Later in the day visit the famous sights of Mysore I,e The Mysore Palace and the Nandu Bull Statue and the temple of Devi Chamundeshwari. If time permits than visit to the suit and flower market is must.

Overnight at the hotel in Mysore.

Day 10 - Mysore to Bangalore

After breakfast leave for Bangalore and upon arrival in Bangalore transfer to the airport for your award destination flight.

An additional visit to Ranganthittu and Jayamangali blackbuck reserve at Maidanhalli is recommended on this tour. Ranganthittu is famous for its winged visitors (Bird Life) and Jayamangali is famous for its Blackbuck sightings.

Visit to Ranganthittu to be carried out on the way from Bandipur to Bagalore and same day very early morning visit will be organised to Jayamangali from Bangalore. Please ask us for details and cost for this extension.
